Clean Sheet Trends In Spanish La Liga Week 12
Hi and welcome to another episode from the Betting Trends video series by Betfame. I'm Emily De Cosimo, and I am the spokesperson for this video series.
In today episode, we are interested in analyzing the clean sheet trend in the Week 12 game of the Spanish La Liga. How many teams kept a clean sheet in the week? What Is the ratio of the teams that didn't concede to those that conceded a goal or more? These questions would be expressly examined in this video. The term 'clean sheet' describes a game in which the team that has kept a clean sheet does not concede a goal during the match.
The origin traces back to when pieces of paper were used by reporters to record the events of a particular game. In essence, if a team refused to let the opponent score them, the details of goals conceded for the team are left empty. Hence, the term clean sheet. Now let’s move on to the Clean Sheet in a Liga Week 12 Game.
Clean Sheet in La Liga Week 12 Game
From the results of the last week of the Spanish La Liga games before the International break, Getafe and Osasuna played a goalless draw, and Alaves, Valencia, and Real Madrid all kept clean sheets against Valladolid, Granada CF, and Eibar respectively.
Teams like Barcelona, Athletic Club, Atletico Madrid, and Sevilla couldn't stand the heat of the pressure from their opponents. They conceded a goal in their respective games. From these results, 4 of 10 teams kept a clean sheet.
So far this season, Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla, and Atletico Madrid top the chart in the teams with the most kept clean sheets.
These three are among the first five teams that have kept the cleanest sheets from the 12 games of the season. The three teams, however, could not contain their opponents in week 12 of the league as they conceded a goal each.
We hope you’d learn a thing or two about clean sheets for a match in this video. To learn more about other football betting trends and weekly results. Simply stay tuned for more episodes in this betting trends video series.
